A 4 meter-long (13ft)great white shark was filmed thrashing wildly in the shallow waters at Coronation Beach in Perth. The shark died later and was washed ashore. According to the Western Australia Department of Fisheries, there was no visible signs of injury or disease, but when they opened the shark they found a sea lion inside its throat. They believe that when the shark was seen trashing about in the water it was trying to dislodge the sea lion that got stuck in its throat.
