Rob Bironas, a former Tennessee Titans kicker, succumb to fatal injuries he got from a car accident that happened near his home.
According to Metro Nashville Police, Bironas was coursing a curve when he lost control of his car, 2009 GMC Yukon Denali. The police also said that the car was speeding when it was traversing the curve that is why it went off the road and slammed into a line of trees nearby.
Bironas was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center but pronounced dead on arrival. According to the initial investigation, there is no evidence that Bironas was under the influence when the accident happened. Bironas' family released a message to the public via the late sports man's Twitter:
