One of the surprising things revealed during the airing of ABC's 'The Story of Frozen: Making a Disney Animated Classic' is the fact that the song "Let It Go" created the movie's theme. Yes, that is quite a surprise because the natural thing in films is that the theme song of the movie is built around the song but in Frozen it is the other way around. "Let It Go" was so powerfully made that the makers of Frozen were forced to change parts of the movie to suit the song. "It was such an empowering song that we ended up rewriting quite a bit of the movie to make that song and theme fit," producer Paul Del Vecho said of the movie's feel-good theme song.
The creators of Frozen knew that what they were creating was something special but they never expected for it to become such a big hit and become the fifth biggest grossing films of all time.
